How to Install New Video Games on iPhone 4

by overcastadmin on February 19th, 2012 at 10:38 pm
Posted In: Video Game Release

You can now install new video games on iPhone 4 if you jailbreak your iPhone 4. This jailbreak will enable you to install the latest games from Cydia. This means as a video game player, you don’t have to use iTunes to buy games from the iTunes Apps Store. But you will have to learn the art of how to unlock and jailbreak iphone. Why be limited to Apple’s monopoly over what you can do with your iPhone 4 and the restriction of using iTunes to buy and install video games onto your iPhone 4. If you’re worried about whether unlocking your iPhone 4 is legal, it is 100% legal to do so. If you are like most gamers now, you have a computer based or console based gaming system and also a mobile device on which you play video games available for mobile devices. Most gamers want the flexibility to literally play favorite video games anytime, anywhere which is why video games compatible with mobile devices are a huge market. And most gamers own the iPhone as the iPhone is the most popular smart phone on the planet. So it makes sense to go for an unlocked, untethered jailbreak for your iPhone.

An untethered jailbreak is optimum for your iPhone 4 anyway since it makes it more valuable if you decide to sell it in the future when the iPhone 5 comes out. An untethered jailbreak iphone would especially be valuable to another gamer who is savvy about a jailbreak iphone vs. a restricted iphone. Visit JailbreakIphone4.org.uk for all the info you need to make your iPhone 4 untethered and so you can install the latest games you want to play without using iTunes.

Airplane Simulator Games

by overcastadmin on February 10th, 2012 at 2:05 am
Posted In: Video Game Release

Gamers love airplane simulator games. Airplane games give the gamer a simulated control over piloting different types of aircraft. Have you ever wondered whether airplane games were similar to really piloting a plane? The “Barefoot Bandit” Colton Harris-Moore played flight simulator games as a teen and when he was evading the FBI, he flew small fixed wing aircraft (single engine planes) based on the knowledge he picked up from airplane games. Apparently, his take offs and flying were near perfect, but his landings needed a little more practice based on the condition of the planes the FBI found he had stolen. But this is one instance where gamers in airplane game forums were abuzz about how airplane simulator games must be extremely realistic if someone who had never flown a plane could get in a plane and fly it based on airplane game knowledge only. Not that we advocate trying this yourself!

But you can experience the thrill of flying using airplane simulator games. You can fly all different types of aircraft, do take-offs, landings, and experience different flight issues while mid-air. Feel just like a pilot in control of your own plane. Track your proficiency. Feel like you are picking up a real skill not just gaming for fantasy in tower defense and first person shooter games, as examples.

At AirplaneGames360.com you can read reviews of the top airplane games including the best Airplane Simulator Games including games where you can choose your aircraft, Jet Games, Helicopter Games, Combat Pilot Games and more.

Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 3 – a girlfriend’s point of view

When it comes to gaming, I’m not exactly a fountain of knowledge. However, I also happen to be the girlfriend of a guy who absolutely adores gaming and is always lining up for all the latest game releases, so I’ve kind of had to pick it up as I go along. I’m a Call of Duty widow and a Skyrim divorcee, and while I know a lot of girls who constantly complain about the fact their other half is always on the Xbox, I don’t really mind.

The thing is, I’m more of a game-watcher than a game-player. Shooting games scare the hell out of me – I let go of the controller as soon as someone starts firing at me – and any game where you have to walk down a dark corridor is automatically out the window in terms of me actually playing it. But if someone else is on the playing side, I’m more than happy to sit back and enjoy the show. It’s just like a long movie, and since my boyfriend’s pretty rubbish at figuring out puzzles and remembering which missions he’s on, I do come in handy from time to time.

One of the best PS3 Adventure games to watch is definitely Mass Effect. It’s set in the year 2183 and you play as Commander Shepherd as he’s traveling the galaxy in his starship, visiting different planets and fighting alien hordes. It kind of reminds me of that film, Starship Troopers, but only a little. I love that you get to go round and talk to everyone and that you can pick up clues to your missions from doing it. Also, it helps that Commander Shepherd is nice looking … just saying.

When Mass Effect 2 came out I was more than happy to just watch my boyfriend play it, and we managed to chew through it quite quickly as well. I don’t think he can believe that I like watching him play games, he’s constantly telling his friends about it. They just look at me like I’m a bit weird, but I’m sure they’re secretly wishing their girlfriends were a bit more like me – that Pussycat Doll song has taken on a whole new meaning in our house.

Now that Mass Effect 3 has been announced, I’m gearing up for an all-out gaming marathon. He started playing the first two Mass Effect games again before Christmas in between playing Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed. Of course he’s already pre-ordered Mass Effect 3 (he tells me this means we get it as soon as it come out – sometimes they arrive a day early too), and as soon as it arrives we’ll jump on it instantly. I’m almost looking forward to it more than my boyfriend is, but then all I have to do is sit back and watch!

Mass Effect 3 isn’t released until March 6 2012 though, but luckily we’ve still got Skyrim, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to be going on with for the time being …

Why game trailers are sometimes more thrilling than the games themselves

Online Game Safety

by overcastadmin on January 26th, 2012 at 12:22 pm
Posted In: Video Game Release

Online gaming is exciting, challenging, let’s admit it, it’s an adrenaline rush. Gamers get wrapped up in online gaming and are often blind to something crucial that should be obvious to them, gamer safety. Luckily, there is a website that features tips on avoiding online gaming risks, GenghisGamer.com. If you haven’t thought about online game safety or if you have, but never really looked into it, you owe it yourself to take some time to read about gamer safety at Genghis Gamer. For example, you should use a password manager. Have you considered password security for your online gaming? Probably not. Think about how hackers operate. If they can hack your password, they will have access to your personal information at a gaming site. That’s essentially their game and you have to be smarter than they are when it comes to this part of playing games online.

In one very important article at Genghis Gamer, you can read about the top three essential tips for avoiding on-line gaming risks. The first tip that many gamers have been known to violate and one of the risks that many gamers take is that they download games from websites recommended in forum threads or from links shared from other gamers. How do you know that you aren’t downloading games with infected files containing malicious code? Gamers should only download games from reputable sites. The other tips that Genghis Gamer recommends relate to personal computer security management which you should be following anyway such as using anti-virus and malware security programs and browser security updates as well.
